Legal knives for EDC

Are automatic and Out the Front knives legal to carry? I thought I remembered that they were illegal "switchblade" knives. What is not legal knife.

You can legally own, but not carry, autos in MN. This includes OTF (out the front), switchblades, etc. Assisted knives are not considered to be autos.

I always wonder whenever I see this on the rack at Fleet Farm how many people buy these but don’t realize the law around having them outside their home... :shock:

But this one is only assisted not auto ;)
