No one who has ever been through a bitter, vindictive separation and divorce could doubt for an instant that red flag laws will be abused. And they're only realizing that now?

I mean due process is overrated, some of the largest countries don’t have due process and there people love the government. Sarcasm intended of course.

Wait until the government goes after any guns it thinks it can seize under forfeiture laws, and owners have to sue to get them back. Including the flimsiest cases of "conspiracy to commit a felony" with a firearm.

When Trump sends his gun control legislation to the congress, I think the dems may be unable to control themselves and they will load it down with so much garbage that it will be DOA in the senate.

Grid-lock can be a good thing.

The President doesn't initiate legislation, the House of Representative does. But you are correct in that anything that comes out of the current House will be DOA in the Senate.

Technically correct, tho presidents do it all the time, doesn't mean the house will even consider it.
