Springfield hellcat 9mm

Local dealer got some of them in and I was lucky enough to get my hands on one. Was going to purchase a shield until I saw they had these in the case. Compared it side by side to the Sig Sauer P365 for a good 10 minutes before deciding on the hellcat. I like that it comes with the extended magazine standard vs with the sig you have to buy a extended mag as an accessory. Plus my dealer had the hellcat priced better than the P365. $499 vs $529.

Hopefully will get to the range Sunday and get some rounds down range. But from the target that was included with the pistol it seems to be pretty accurate. ImageImage

I really want one but can't stomach replacing all my XDS holsters, as I imagine they aren't compatible.

They are not. The trigger guard on the hellcat is much smaller. I actually am using a iwb xds holster til my new one for the hellcat comes in...

Same here. Also guessing resale value on my first gen XDS is pretty low. I rarely carry my XDS anymore though. My Kahr CW380 is usually my go to since it pockets so nicely.

I got to fondle one this evening. It didn't come home with me, but it didn't lessen my desire to buy one soon, either.

Can I trouble you for a pic of the other side of the holster? I like 25 degree cant and wondering how easy it would be to modify this holster to that. Thanks in advance!

Springfield hellcat 9mm

So I'm always hanging out at the local fleet store browsing the gun case, when a lady comes up and ask if they got any of the new hellcat pistols in. The guy behind the counter points to me and said well that guy bought the first one we got and I think I have two left. She got all excited and bought one right then and there. And then told her that she would bring her father by Monday and purchase the other one. That was Saturday evening.

Today I ran into them again, and sure enough her dad was buying the last one. She had also brought in the one she had purchased because she wanted to compare the magazine fitment. She said hers seemed a little loose. They compared the two and they were about the same. I told her once the gun is loaded up it becomes alot tighter. Then I noticed something unique about her hellcat. It was the optics ready one with the milled slide. She paid the same price for it as a regular one. Lucky girl!

I've sent a couple boxes of ammo down range in the back yard. Gun handles very nicely. It conceals very nice too. I need to do some more target shooting with it and get good at hitting with it at speed.
