SB 16 Assault firearms and certain firearm magazines; prohibiting sale, transport, etc., penalties.
VA SB 16 Assault firearms and magazines; prohibiting sale, transport
Prohibiting sale, transport, etc., of assault firearms and certain firearm magazines; penalties. Expands the definition of "assault firearm" and prohibits any person from importing, selling, transferring, manufacturing, purchasing, possessing, or transporting an assault firearm. A violation is a Class 6 felony. The bill prohibits a dealer from selling, renting, trading, or transferring from his inventory an assault firearm to any person. The bill also prohibits a person from carrying a shotgun with a magazine that will hold more than seven rounds of the longest ammunition for which it is chambered in a public place; under existing law, this prohibition applies only in certain localities. The bill makes it a Class 1 misdemeanor to import, sell, barter, or transfer any firearm magazine designed to hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition.

And so it starts...

Watch this one closely as the people are taking a stand. There are several sanctuary counties already and more in process. The people of VA are rallying way ahead of this so if it passes expect mass non compliance.

I think we have reached the line. People in multiple states have not complied with new anti-gun laws, NY, CT, CO, AZ, OR, WA. Not only have they not complied, Sheriffs and other LEOs have said the laws are non enforceable and in some cases unconstitutional. I really think from what we are seeing that people have had enough erosion of our God given and Constitutionally protected rights.

The left know there will be mass non-compliance with these laws, which means they will be selectively enforced.

From watching Francis "Hell Yes" O'Rourke or Eric "Nuke'm All" Swalwell I think they expect us to act like lemmings and just turn them in.

Here is an update. My fellow citizens, please stand up to these tyrants and encourage your friends and loved ones to get out and vote for reps that will protect our rights instead of dismantling them. If the communists within the democrat party disarm us, it's all over. Make no mistake, that is their plan and after we are disarmed...it gets very ugly.

It's not that I disagree with you, in general, but not all our problems are in the democrat party. There are plenty of politicos in the GOP who are just as bad.

Very true. Though in the democratic party there does exist a core group that is truly socialist and has a pretty clear goal to disarm and subjugate the populace.

There are certainly some decent Ds and some terrible Rs. However, the current political climate seems to be that our votes for individual representatives are merely proxy votes for the leadership. By voting for a Democrat, you are just voting for Pelosi or Schumer. That's the sad reality.
