Electronic powder measure suggestions wanted

Looking at more automatic powder measuring if I can do it cheap enough. Any reasonably priced used ones to look for?

I really like my RCBS Chargemaster, but it ain't the cheapest option for sure.

I use an old RCBS Powder Pro scale and dispenser, works great. Except for the color, it’s the same as the PACT scale and dispenser.

I have both the Chargemaster and a PACT Scale. I had the RCBS dispenser that went with the PACT Scale (had the scale years before the dispenser), but the dispenser part had a motor fail. I now use the Chargemaster to dispense, and the PACT scale to verify, and for weight sorting cases & bullets.

If you go to AccurateShooter.com-forums, there are Chargemasters often for sale. http://forum.accurateshooter.com/threads/chargemaster-2.3979909/ he's asking $200 OBO

Note: The Older CM setup was originally made by PACT, just put in the green cases. This is no longer true.

Found a nice used Lyman gen 5 for $164 shipped. Will see how it works out.

I have an older powdermaster and a newer chargemaster.

I think they are good enough, but they are slow. The Powdermaster is slower and tends to be picky about set up. They both will fairly often dispense 0.1gr too much.

A friend (since left the state and gave up reloading) had a lyman that worked pretty well. I've been tempted to get one, but why have 3 of the things?

Erud's Prometheus is probably the best of the lot, but pretty much unobtainium.

I actually sold my Prometheus back to the guy that makes them when the Autotrickler/Autothrow combo was released. The Prometheus was great, but the Autotrickler setup is better in every way at 1/4 the price.

I’d still never want to be without a Chargemaster either though. I don’t really use it to dispense powder very often, but it seems like I’m always using the scale for something or other.
