Nonsense, everything has a price. You need to be billing someone for your hourly wage, unless you are some kind of sucker.

Yeah but the cheap SOB’s at .gov refuse to pay the bill!

No problem, just charge your kids, hunting buddies, or whoever you're with. They need to understand that your time isn't free.

Gotta. At your regular hourly rate, how much have your contributions to this thread cost you financially thus far? Has it been worth it? :cogitating:

So, what's the going rate to pay myself to shoot the Garand ammo I just loaded?

I have to make sure I budget enough.

I'll make sure to bill the range at my hourly rate from my job next time I'm running a timer or scoring at a USPSA match - I should *handily* walk away with well more than my entry fee, especially given the ratio between my hourly rate and the entry fee. Wait, you mean that's not how it works? :)

Well, whatever the pay rate is for a professional M1 Garand shooter is. So I guess you’ll have to look up what an E1 in WWII was paid, and then calculate your hours based on that. Mail the invoice directly to H&H’s house, he’ll pay it.

Don't forget to adjust for 75 years worth of inflation. :)

Glad to see you have a sense of humor after that. We were laying it on a little thick.
