:?:

I was told by the salesman who quoted the price that he had said $20,000 would get a site with requirements including a scheduling calendar, and that he was told when he called the club it was too expensive.

I have no paper trail for this, but from my working knowledge at the time, this was a decent price for on shore development of a basically functioning site. Having it done somewhere else, perhaps offshore, and what that would cost, I do not know. I also do not know if it was opened to other firms for bidding.

I do not think it would be cheaper today (well, maybe today, with the dearth of dev jobs in the COVID market), and have checked the newsletter since for updates on buying or building a new site. Aside from the IT guy disappearing, I have not seen any.

I have concluded it is not a priority.

It's a ludicrously low price, unless there's something off-the-shelf they were planning to leverage for scheduling.

Back to the original topic, I'm guessing its extremely unlikely Oakdale will open until the doom and gloom government of this state tells everyone 'everything is fine'

They must be extra serious about staying closed. As of 2:43 PM CDT 4/9/2020 even their website is down

Anyone notice the Keller Williams sign by the front gate?

I just attempted to go to the OGC Website and I received the following message :
The Website's IP Has Been Changed
NRA RSO
"Never anger a man that can end you, from another zip code

If necessary to fight, I will Fight like I'm the 3rd Monkey on the ramp to Noah's Arc, and brother, it's starting to rain.

Didn't see one when I drove by about 530 today.

Closed through May 3, even though the Lake Elmo park archery range is still open, right next door. Ridiculous.

Not a chance in hell this stay at home nonsense will end in May either.

Within the past hour the gubner extended the MN shutdown until 13 May...

I guess no one can be trusted to act like an adult.

I heard he'd extended the state of emergency, not the shutdown.

Not quite the same thing.

True; is there a difference in the result?

Even as the daily death rate is declining?

I’m just trying to figure out who the seven members of the Board think they’re impressing by doing this.

They’ll still try and shut down ranges and take away guns DESPITE this action....so why not say eff em and stay open to members anyways?

Its just four board members deciding this?

Totally agree with you, I'm furious beyond the capacity for rational thought right now. Literally every other private gun club is still open. I thought we all had some level of ownership the way the club worked?

At this rate they'll be shut down until next year, just watch...Walz will twist the stats more and more, and nothing will reopen until well into 2021...all while he's pretending to acknowledge we can't keep things closed forever.
