As a curiosity, I checked the website of the Chisago County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff is an ardent supporter of the 2nd Amendment.
They appear to be doing business as usual; 8-4:30 drop-offs, M-F.
Then again, perhaps there would be no big rush for county residents to get a PTC, as I suspect most already have theirs.

Apparently the mere threat of legal action has caused Sheriff Fletcher to change things in a hurry.

Imagine that, a sheriff finding a way to work around a LAW, Does he do that for other laws?

Good to hear that things are going faster in Ramsey County.
I called for an appointment on August 23rd, and went in to drop off my application at Ramsey County Sheriff's Office on Oct 12th!
Just received my PTC today from them, 2.5 weeks later. I expected that they would get it back to me 29 days after the application was made.

A friend in White Bear Lake reported similar to me, Jan 7 changed to Nov 10. Good work!
