False Flag Warning -- January 17th 12PM Protest

Postby warrlac on Thu Jan 14, 2021 8:25 pm

I recommend viewing the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus Youtube video below (jump ahead to about 1:57 when he starts talking).

My personal opinion is that showing up at this event (armed or unarmed) would be a bad idea. Someone is calling for an armed march on the Capital and state Capitals. We saw what they did with the events of the January 6 DC march.

It occurs to me that, tactically speaking, being bunched up together in a surrounded group is the worst possible place to be if one actually needs to use one's firearms.

Hmmm....if the Red Flag-Gun Confiscation law passed would showing up at one of these rallies be evidence enough to get "flagged"? I know this is a stupid question because the RF-GC law hasn't been passed yet so nobody knows WHAT it would be like but I do wonder. I also wonder if showing up at a rally would be grounds to repeal someone's carry permit.

I think just having a log in on this forum or owning a gun qualifies .

When the basic premise is that anyone who wants to own a gun is crazy, that alone affords the needed latitude to keep everyone safe.

I'm saddened by the huge number of hoplophobes who see someone possessing a gun as an aggression against them.
