Those BS video's of ammo manufacturers claiming they are making it as fast as they can is totally BS. This worthless government has put a noose around these folks to stop supplying law abiding folks to defend themselves. If you believe otherwise, you need to pull your heads out of your arses and realize the facts with this current government!!!!!

Anyone who doesn’t know where the ammo is doesn’t have access to the internet.

Some theories:

Antifa, Bolshevik Lying Marxists, Black Panthers stocking up for the Civil War they have been trying to start...

5 million new gun owners that aren't the above groups... If each of them manages to get a box of "training" (plinking) ammo and a box of self defense ammo that's 500 MILLION rounds...

Hoarders... I've got a buddy that has been working from home for 10 months now and lives pretty close to Sportsman's Guide. He says every time he receives an "in stock" email alert he rushes in and there's the same 20 guys (including him) standing there with their 2 box limit in hand...

Gougers... Pretty sure there are a few "members" here that have NEVER posted anything other than ammo at 3x or more of the MSRP in the Ammo For Sale section.

Little/local gun shops... Whatever big store Smurfman works at used to get and sell through a pallet a month, and every little rural Ace Hardware that sells guns and every other LGS and pawn shop from Worthington to Roseau used to order a case of ammo every month or two... all those nearly zero volume local shops are now attempting to order 10 cases a week to restock the shelves (and probably only stocking half of what they receive and posting the other half on online auctions).
Science: noun, Whatever answer will help to advance communism.

The American shooter is the greatest consumer of ammo....bar none. More than any law enforcement agency, more than the Feds.

Stop with the ridiculous conspiracy theories.
Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.

Its being priced out of most folks reach, which is what this government does when they want something to go away. Tax it to death or create laws to choke it to death. Look what they did to drones. Look at tobacco. Look at this about guns:

The government simply isn’t capable of that level of conspiracy.

Now, Bloomberg on the other hand....

That legislation had not passed, are you saying that they are collecting these fees from you right now?

Not yet. Look who has control of both house and senate. Biden would sign this in a heartbeat!

Sure. But if that is what is causing the shortage right now would that not prove my point?

Vista Outdoor reports a strong quarter

Supposedly there are around 9 billion rounds of non-military ammo produced in the US each year. Guesstimating another 5 billion imported, that adds up to 14 billion rounds. Divide that by 300,000,000 guns, that leave about 46 rounds per gun. It’s not going to get better for a while.
