He has a compromise he thinks gun owners would support:
- Removing short-barrelled rifles and shotguns from NFA
- Removing suppressors from NFA
- Adding bump stocks to NFA
- Repealing assault weapons bans
- Repealing magazine capacity limits
- Repealing handgun age requirements
- Repealing trafficking prohibitions
- Repealing junk gun laws
- Repealing "stand your ground" restrictions
- Adding violent misdemeanors to NICS
- Creating a Universal Background Check system that simply runs background checks, and does not involve any information about the firearms being transfered
So, as a compromise, would you find this acceptable?
