Exactly he can fire her and then she has no Senate seat to go back to either and is basically completely out of government. The initial plan was to get Caroline Schlossberg in to her seat, the person who probably snubbed her in the VP selection, to really rub salt in the wound for the Primary fight. I'm betting the only reason Caroline dropped out is someone had some bad dirt on her that threatened to release it unless she dropped out.

Hellary had to apoligize during the primarys for making up that story, if I remember correctly that was the first time the media turned on her in favor for Nobama. It was all over talk radio for about a week or two; Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hennedy, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin and Jason Lewis were all playing the soundbite of her saying she "mis-spoke". The press also provided a picture of her getting flowers from a little girl right after she stepped off the helo.

I've always liked the name Mark Levin gave to her..."Herthighness"
