Pm not leaving outbox

For some reason my pm’s aren’t leaving my outbox. I tried two different people, with same results.
It said they are being sent, but don’t show up in my sent folder, just stays in my outbox.

It does until they read them, from what I have been told years ago

Well that is odd way of doing it. Prior to me posting this question, I pm Ttousi (because he is a mod) asking for assistance on this issue. Wonder if received that pm?
Lol if that’s the case the guy I was initially trying to pm is going to have a few pm’s in his inbox.

Could not agree more. My user name has a V2 because I thought something was wrong and created another account back then

Pretty sure you can delete messages that are still your outbox.

Are you, by any chance, clicking "Save" rather than "Submit" when trying to send PM?

Yeah I deleted some of them when I found out they sit in outbox till you open them.
I looks like my test pm worked.
Thanks for the clarification on this issue guys.

I'm having the same issue. Something is broken in the forum software...seems like a shaky platform. I've got mssgs not leaving the Outbox and it's incredibly frustrating. I doubt it's a 'until they read them', because A) they wouldn't have time to read thru mssgs and B) who the heck are "they"? Other posts in FAQ talk about this issue as well, so it's not an isolated thing. The answer in the FAQs says to bring it to the attention of a Board Administrator, but good luck finding how to do that. I'd say ditch this tapatalk and go with a tried and true platform like vBulletin.

As detailed above, messages you are attempting to send remain in your outbox until they (the recipient) opens the message.
