I just started my latest (ad)venture, loading .45 AR. I got Remington brass, with some Starline on order. I suppose this is one of those YMMV questions, but I read a lot of people saying that Rem brass is too thin and doesn't hold up. Very few people have any issues with Starline.
Anyone have any experience with this? Should I stick with .452 lead bullets in the Rem brass?
Well I plan to get at least 50 loaded by Friday which I have off to go to the range. Yep, I am running them thru the sizing die, chamfer and deburr, flare as little as needed, which is my usual routine. Hoping they will be durable. They don't look like the most robust brass, but I posit that my eyes really can't tell "quality" brass from otherwise.
