Well atleast you didnt skimp and use particle board like the pics of that other guys setup.

It does almost look to nice to be a loading room, Maybe some presses might help :P

The lighting is awesome, Ron! I'm always left shaking my head when someone builds a nice space like that and then hangs a bunch of fluorescent fixtures for broadcast lighting. Your setup looks inviting and comfortable for loooooong hours spent doing manly things with other men.

Uh, hang on, that didn't come out right...

I know it's not officially a reloading room yet until the press is installed, I'm working on that. I've had so much stuff spread out that I taking my time getting everything organized and back into this room. The whole idea for this room is of course reloading, gun cleaning and relaxing with a book. I think we achieved the part about the room being inviting and relaxing, I was cleaning our handguns before a match yesterday and really enjoyed it.

I just saw this thread. Awesome reloading room! Good job, Mike and Ron.

I have just started to build a reloading room in my basement and in fact used your nail gun for the framing. Thank you, Ron! What's your favorite beer? :D

I found this plan for a bench on the web:

http://www.rifleshootermag.com/ammunition/benchs_022607/

It is a shallow bench (only 18 inches), but like the author of the article, I tend to leave things laying around if there is too much horizontal space, a bad idea if those things are powders.

I am going to divide it into two four-foot sections, one about 30 inches high (for sitting to use a Dillon 550) and the other about 43 inches high (for standing), each on its own adjacent wall with cabinets in the corner between them. Like you, I will have track lighting over the benches. Mine isn't going to be as nice as yours, though.

I have heard it is best to avoid carpet in reloading rooms because of release of static electricity and problems with primers. My room is in my basement and I am not sure what I want to do for flooring. I do have a battery powered backup sump pump, but am still hesitant to use wood flooring in a basement. Other options?

I'm working on my basement (and man cave) as well. (Sigdoc and Ron, thanks for the help.)

I'm going to do a treatment on the cement. I'm not sure if I'll just stain it or epoxy it. I want to keep the concrete floor.

I scene the Bat cave, and all I have to say is kudos. I am envious. As it stands, I have to crawl over my reloding sheit to get to bed.
