We would need some heavier gauge steel plates, let me tell ya

What about your abnormal vocabulary?

Yeah you may have to have your own plates. Geez, .444 is just overkill...
My nice, practical .44 mag is nothing but pleasant on shoulders and targets alike. (where is the innocent smile smiley face?)
p.s. just kidding, the word "overkill" is not in my normal vocabulary.

Well that would add to my times I average about 5sec per round on rifle reloads.

A buddy of mine works for a restaurant that serves game, and is real jazzed about hunting a hog/boar/feral pig. My brother and I would also like to do this, as it is a type of hunting we've never done.
What I'm wondering is where in the area one would go for something like this? I hear that Wisconsin is the place to go, around Crawford county. All that is needed is a small game permit. What I don't know is if there is state land around in the area, or if there is a section of private where the tenants are open to hog hunters...
Also, is there a place in Minnesota to hog hunt? Does anyone know the license/area specifics? (the DNR is pretty light on info for hogs).
Unprotected Mammals
Residents and nonresidents are not required to have a license to hunt unprotected species including coyote...
Weasels, coyotes, gophers, porcupines, striped skunks, and all other mammals for which there are no closed seasons or other protection are unprotected animals.
...the pigs, though roaming wild, are considered domestic animals and not wildlife.
"There aren't clear laws and policies to deal with this kind of thing," said Ed Boggess, deputy director of the DNR's Fish and Wildlife Division. The DNR is considering drafting legislation that would more clearly allow it to deal with feral pigs.

I've never heard of them in any significant numbers in WI either. Now, TX, that's a different story.
