What I have decided to do is "pay it forward" so to speak. One Saturday in January, I will be giving a women's only P2C class to the first 10 wives of current members of this forum who are interested in obtaining or renewing a Minnesota P2C. This class is intended for the WIFE of a member only. I will provide : firearm-ammo-targets-eye and ear protection-applications for Minnesota and Florida-coffee-bottled water and snacks. All they have to do is get to Alexandria. Class would start at 9:00 a.m. The first 10 members that post will get a free class for their wife. At present, I am working with the 19th of January. Do not post and then check with the wife----once posted, you have reserved one of ten spots available. If the weather sucks on the 19th and travel is out of the question, we will continue with other dates. If this works out, I just may do one every month.![]()
Oddly, it doesn't really clarify that at the time of this posting above, that you had to be a current member. If that is what you meant, I guess I am not the only one who mis-understood. I can see why you wouldn't want to have long time members lose a spot because people simply signed up last minute just to get the class. Coincidentally I joined the forum a few days after this was posted and didn't see it until today so that wasn't my intent.

I guess since its your giveaway, its certainly your choice to make the rules. However, I'd think since this thread has been going for quite some time and hasn't filled up yet, you'd want the most exposure that you could get as in reality this is a simple and easy way for you to get some great word of mouth advertising.
I'll let the wife know its not happening.. I am sure she'll be heart broken.
