Joel, you just don't get it, you've worn out your welcome with almost all of us.

Your pathetic attempts what you consider humorous parody which are in fact malicious defamations of a pretty nice guy, your 'software glitches" where people are having their passwords suddenly not work, your complete unraveling when it comes to a good friend suggesting perhaps that you have crossed the line, all show that you are doing everything possible to loose any respect remaining for you.

Your flippant answer " I dunno, not my concern" shows it. One of the mildest guys on the whole board reams you a new one, and you blithely skip over it. Oblivious to the disgust behind it. Oblivious to the whole eroding position that you are in. Once upon a time, people had some respect for you and the work you had done for the carry movement. Right now, you are the object of an ongoing parody of yourself which you seem to miss completely, or you would have not decided to risk coming on here and posting.

Perhaps saying it best was "Mr Shunderson" in the classic Cary Grant movie "People will talk"

The point is that there are many extraordinary instructors here in the metro--take a look at the "Training" section of this board. And I know many of them personally. They are extraordinary gentleman and consummate professionals who are genuinely interested in doing what is best for the 2A and for our colleagues who carry guns. Ironically (or perhaps not) they are often the ones Joel hates the most--but it couldn't be the competition could it...nah!!! They sacrifice alot for the cause. Joel is not one of these. Joel is and always has been interested in what's best for Joel, and if that means tearing apart the gun community, attacking fellow instructors, calling names and hating, then that's fine with Joel so long as in his own mind he gets something out of it. I took Joel's class--one of several I have taken. The course material was mediocare at best. The instructor was coarse, disrespectful, arrogant and ....boring. You could throw a dart at a dart board and find better instructors. So just do it! Don't contribute to the anti-gun cause in Minnesota by supporting Joel.

I agree, and am surprised that people are still giving him the credit he feels he deserves. It is my FEELING and OPINION that this should not continue based on the recent actions and behavior of this individual.


To find a list of certified instructors other than joelr, please click on the members link and look at the member's website information, look at the sig lines of those that post here for site information, or start a thread asking who people recommend.

There are many instrudtors here that will teach the same, or better information for a fraction of the price, and who care about YOU and YOUR 2A RIGHTS not their own pocketbooks.
