And why would anyone over here on the not-your-board remotely care? Haven't you made enough enemies with your latest acting out? Now you want to come over here and try to start something on this board by tweaking noses? How many friends can you afford to turn into enemies before you really do become a movement of one?

For anyone here who is not familiar with the above character, and his, errr, character, I would invite you to peruse these threads before even thinking about giving him any money:
viewtopic.php?f=37&t=8553

viewtopic.php?f=21&t=8651&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=couch

But don't take everyone else's word for it. Heck, go look at his own words and see what kind of integrity he has and what kind of mutual respect he gives to his peers and colleagues in the business:

Then...run as far away as you can from him.

I dunno; not my concern. I do know where signups come from, and it's worth the (minimal) effort to post listings here; just a simple cut-and-paste. Thanks for your interest, though.

I think I'm minimally grateful; I'll know better when I look at the log summaries and run the analysis tool. 8-)

Joel, you just don't get it, you've worn out your welcome with almost all of us.

Your pathetic attempts what you consider humorous parody which are in fact malicious defamations of a pretty nice guy, your 'software glitches" where people are having their passwords suddenly not work, your complete unraveling when it comes to a good friend suggesting perhaps that you have crossed the line, all show that you are doing everything possible to loose any respect remaining for you.

Your flippant answer " I dunno, not my concern" shows it. One of the mildest guys on the whole board reams you a new one, and you blithely skip over it. Oblivious to the disgust behind it. Oblivious to the whole eroding position that you are in. Once upon a time, people had some respect for you and the work you had done for the carry movement. Right now, you are the object of an ongoing parody of yourself which you seem to miss completely, or you would have not decided to risk coming on here and posting.

Perhaps saying it best was "Mr Shunderson" in the classic Cary Grant movie "People will talk"

"Joel, you're a little man. It's not that you're short. You're...little, in the mind and in the heart. Tonight, you tried to make a man little whose boots you couldn't touch if you stood on tiptoe on top of the highest mountain in the world. And as it turned out...you're even littler than you were before. "

The point is that there are many extraordinary instructors here in the metro--take a look at the "Training" section of this board. And I know many of them personally. They are extraordinary gentleman and consummate professionals who are genuinely interested in doing what is best for the 2A and for our colleagues who carry guns. Ironically (or perhaps not) they are often the ones Joel hates the most--but it couldn't be the competition could it...nah!!! They sacrifice alot for the cause. Joel is not one of these. Joel is and always has been interested in what's best for Joel, and if that means tearing apart the gun community, attacking fellow instructors, calling names and hating, then that's fine with Joel so long as in his own mind he gets something out of it. And as far as who wrote the book on carry in Minnesota. I think almost everyone agrees that it is no longer Joel's but this one: http://www.amazon.com/Minnesota-Permit- ... hf_p_img_1

I took Joel's class--one of several I have taken. The course material was mediocare at best. The instructor was coarse, disrespectful, arrogant and ....boring. You could throw a dart at a dart board and find better instructors. So just do it! Don't contribute to the anti-gun cause in Minnesota by supporting Joel.

Locked because of thread drift

This thread is now unlocked. Respond as you will but be assured that any personal attacks will be dealt with via warnings. After being informed by the other mods and seeing your responses in the "bender" thread I agree that thread drift is not a valid reason to lock.

No derogatory comments or pictures. State your feelings and opinions. Fair enough?

The other thread will be moved to strategy
Posting from my Blackberry while on the road.
