I've been instructing our Permit to Carry since 2003 and over the years-thanks to mainly Ramsey & Henn counties-I've recommended more than a few students to Marc for various reasons. 100% of the feedback I've received from them (email or phone) has been nothing but praise :D Not only the way they were treated but also the fees they were billed. Most of them researched different lawyers and some of the results they came up with were unreal! And yes, Marc is who I'll be calling if ever needed :) Nothing personal towards Marc, but hopefully I'll never have to call his office!

It's also my understanding of the Utah law, that if you are denied a carry permit of your home state, your Utah permit is also not valid. If Utah is the route you are going to take, I would look into that a little more closely.

Just my .02

I've always found Marc to be the soul of tact and discretion. I've recommended him to my students for years. Those that have contacted him all said he was helpful, reasonable, and good to deal with.

MnMike: When you besmirch someone's character, you should stop to consider that character and credit are EARNED. Marc has a reputation, a GOOD reputation, for a reason.

So, want to pull the gloves off, release him from the attorney client privledge, and allow the discussion to procede in an open and frank manner?

Or would you prefer more one sided insinuations and slurs?

Hey hey hold up here!!! I need to call the local news station and get a public address setup. This might be the first time I've seen people publicly coming to the defense of a lawyer. :rotf: :rotf:

Good lawyers are hard to find. I got a Christmas card from their firm once. 2 sharks on the front. inside: "I'm the one on the left"

Marc's one of the good ones.

I'm not sure that it's necessary to come here and publicly bash Marc for his fees or lack of guarantee, particularly since he can't properly defend himself. You inquired, he responded, and it didn't work out. Fortunately for him, his reputation is strong enough that it will not suffer one iota.

The great thing is...there are a lot of choices out there for attorneys. If Marc didn't suit your needs or your budget, I'm sure there are others out there who will. I wish you luck.

He should have consulted you before throwing out the 10%, I bet you could have gotten him a higher precentage.
