I'm reading your posts on this and getting the feeling you are trying to discredit the notion that the current administration may be up to something. Simply because they have have circulated similar rumors in the past and may not have followed through, doesn't mean they mean no harm. They are talking for a reason and if we don't pay attention, we will only have ourselves to blame when unfavorable outcomes are a reality. I appreciate board members who keep up on topics and post what they find interesting/alarming. I don't wish to be asleep and want to make sure I'm tipped off to do my own research.

Actually I contact my elected officials directly. Even though I know that this Interwebs stuff is some very serious Sh*t, when you blow off steam here, it doesn't go anywhere. I don't owe you any explanation about where I was when previous subjects were posted. If there is concern either way for what the Government is doing or not doing - typing up a scathing post on a local gun forum should do the trick to make a difference. Especially when that post is designed to put other down who are concerned with what they read and are attempting to raise the alarm about something they don't like. I would prefer they pick up a pen or phone to and send their opinion to their legislator directly, but informing others who may act has value also.

It's your opinion that this will go nowhere as it has in the past, but it is others opinion that it is worthy of some time and attention.

Feel free to spell check this post so you can feel like you did something today besides try to run someone else's opinion into the dirt.
