Racial inequity?
Doesn't make sense and shows that they're real desperate.

Like the guy that testified that his "hero" brother was a victim of gun violence, because if not for the gun, his brother wouldn't have murdered someone during a robbery and ended up in prison. It took me awhile to even get my head around what his argument was, it was so twisted. For awhile I was convinced that these people were brain damaged, most likely the result of too many illicit substances in conjunction with a vulnerable mind. While this might be the case for some, I've come realize there is another reason.
I'm absolutely convinced that the modern gun control movement is in fact a cult. They rely on completely irrational, illogical, and emotional arguments supported by deceit, fraud, and outright lies. You can point this out to them, but they'll dismiss you out of hand and hold true to their beliefs. Their position is one entirely supported by faith, and is devoid of any and all substance. There's no arguing or reasoning with these people, they are as absolutely convinced their cause is just as any other religious cultist, and are willing to do anything to force their beliefs on all the rest of us sinners.
