I have been looking for a bipod for my wife's target rifle (.22) but cannot manage to settle on a good solution. I have read and heard elsewhere that Harris is the only way to go in terms of bipods, while still others insist that you can get a quality product for much less money. What do you all prefer?
After trying to figure out what would work best for her applications, I think a 6-9" would work best (
) and I can't really see a use for a swivel function though the ability to rotate ala http://www.harrisbipods.com/RBA.html
would be nice but I don't want to, nor could I, mount a picatinny rail on the laminated stock. Any solutions?
