Yep, thats possibly one of the more alarming things to tell a doctor who is likely only concerned about other people's safety, not yours, when they ask you that.

I like the idea of throwing the question of a personal nature at the Dr, "Sex with anyone else but their wife or husband," would be a good one. :exactly:

I went to the Chiropracter about a year ago who happens to be a friend of mine, and knows I carry. On my initial visit, (I was carrying a 1911) he asked me to wait in "the first room on the right". 5 minutes later, completely by surprise, the x-ray tech came in to get some xrays. Needless to say there was a discussion before hand. It turns out that the xray tech was retired LEO and was pretty impressed with my Kimber. In hindsight, I should have had him take some xrays while I was strapped since they were all stand up films.

Next time.

That would be a pretty cool picture to hang on your wall

So rather than just being chased by a zombie, you are now being chased by one in that's engulfed in flames? No thanks.

I have posted this before, but I will again for Straddie's benefit,

When I am at the doc's I carry a small book bag. I bring some gym shorts, a book, maybe a can of pop or a bottled water, as well as a copy of my medical records, IF I have to go into an exam room or other space where I might be seeing someone other than my doc, who could care less, the gun comes off and goes into the back pack, the back pack has a split pocket in the main compartment and I keep a pistol rug in there and drop the whole gun and holster package into the rug and zip it shut. This prevents the nurse, tech, or whomever from having that heart attack moment.
