I have posted this before, but I will again for Straddie's benefit,
When I am at the doc's I carry a small book bag. I bring some gym shorts, a book, maybe a can of pop or a bottled water, as well as a copy of my medical records, IF I have to go into an exam room or other space where I might be seeing someone other than my doc, who could care less, the gun comes off and goes into the back pack, the back pack has a split pocket in the main compartment and I keep a pistol rug in there and drop the whole gun and holster package into the rug and zip it shut. This prevents the nurse, tech, or whomever from having that heart attack moment.
