I find it interesting that all this crap is being dragged up on her now that she's in the spotlight, despite the fact that it had nothing to do with the fact that she saved many lives today. Who cares what she did in a previous job/career/life? She could have been a porn star or a taxi driver or McDonalds fry person, and it wouldn't change the fact that today she did the right thing and saved dozens of people by 1) Having a CCW 2) using it.

The other thing about this story that kind of baffles me is the 1000 rounds of ammo. If these were all rifle rounds, this is between 50 and 100#, not including the magazines they were in. Wonder how he was carrying them. Perhaps "having" 1000 rounds means they found 2 magazines on the body and a bunch of stuff in his car. Gotta love the news.

I agree. It sickens me to see someone who saved a bunch of people get dragged in the mud.

Regarding 1000 rounds, I too wonder. If it was 30rnd mags it would take 33 of them, not sure how someone would carry so much on their body. Not sure if I remember reading something about a back pack or not but thats an easy option, still weighs a ton though.

There has been talk about a pistol and rifle. I would think that a significant portion of the rounds were pistol.

The media CAN NOT have a good story that includes: a) gun, b) church, c) Permit to Carry, and d) a woman................."Woman carrying a legal gun saves Church members.".............not going to happen as it undermines their whole existance.....

I was also wondering about the weight of the ammo.

Also if he did have 1000rds why was it said she may have saved 50-100 lives. I thought he was in a target rich environment.

Just out of curiousity, does anybody know anything about this particular church?? Is there any reason some whacko would pick this specific church rather than just wandering into a Catholic or Lutheran or Methodist church?? I've never heard of this particular sect before, but it doesn't sound like anything out of the ordinary.

P.S. I wonder if Pastor Paul packs in the pulpit??
