I find it interesting that all this crap is being dragged up on her now that she's in the spotlight, despite the fact that it had nothing to do with the fact that she saved many lives today. Who cares what she did in a previous job/career/life? She could have been a porn star or a taxi driver or McDonalds fry person, and it wouldn't change the fact that today she did the right thing and saved dozens of people by 1) Having a CCW 2) using it.
The other thing about this story that kind of baffles me is the 1000 rounds of ammo. If these were all rifle rounds, this is between 50 and 100#, not including the magazines they were in. Wonder how he was carrying them. Perhaps "having" 1000 rounds means they found 2 magazines on the body and a bunch of stuff in his car. Gotta love the news.
