This is why we have so many **** laws on the books, because people can't use common sense and need the Government to tell them how much they can drink before playing with guns. Is this really a serious question.

I don't know if the OPs was, but mine is - is it actually illegal for a person to carry on private property with a BAC of >= 0.04? Leave out the question of good idea vs. bad - I am only concerned with legality at this point...

Leave the gun out of the equation,
is it legal to be on private property with a BAC of .10 to .08...
is it legal to ride a 4-wheeler on private property with a BAC of .10 to .08 or higher....... :?

No doubt.
Come on people. Common sense. I really believe the OP was kidding around. Or looking to get attention.
And if he was serious, why trust something like this to an internet whirlwind of guesses and answers from people you really don't know. If you want a definitive answer, contact a lawyer.

http://www.house.leg.state.mn.us/hrd/pubs/aceight.pdf ...The History of 0.08 Percent Alcohol
Concentration in Minnesota ....clearly states "to lower the per se standard from 0.10 percent to 0.08 percent"...
so yea I meant .10 and to me I don't really care if .10>.08 or .08<.10...it's all the same to me...

The answer should be, all kidding aside, Public or private property, guns and mind altering substances don't compliment one another.

I'm down with four wheeling, drinking, and shooting at the cabin. You just need them spread out. We generally shoot late morning, lock em up, wheel the afternoons, and hooch it at sundown. I see no issues with that.

I will admit I've plinked around thou with a beer on private property.

I don't have an issue with people that will have A beer and then go out and finish a day's hunt. Ive been around many camps where the guys will enjoy a beer in the afternoon before they head out for the evening hunt.
I do have an issue with people that don't stop at one OR make it an event. Beer and Shoot'n Ya'll EEHAA
