Agreed. I've poured almost 10% of my earnings into 401k's/stocks the last 3 years. The return has been less than spectacular. However, right after the election I bought two new personal rifles (a Colt and DPMS, one thanks to our fantastic dealer/forum member "ThunderJohn") and slipped in a couple orders for more than 10 rifles that did show up in the past couple weeks. I didn't gouge anyone, but I did send many of them to auction....which is the true definition of "market price" .....my wife always asked why I kept buying guns, now she understands my answer "they're a good/safe investment" very, very well.

but if you buy a gun "intended" for someone that cant legally buy it for himself, that is the "Strawman deal", and is a big time no no..

As a non ffl, I can buy and flip as new weapons as id like with out any paper work or storefront? I'm sure the ATF would love to know this.
