Orion Arms in Lino Lakes

I would like to do an SBR and learned Orion can do the engraving. Has anyone used their service and if so, were you satisfied? I have yet to know their fee.

I used Ident Marking down in TX. Great job and it cost me around $70. I've heard Orion was a little higher on their price

Orion Arms in Lino Lakes

He's talking about an SBR engraving. It's the manufacturer name, city and state. There are locations, size and depth requirements established by BATFE.

Really any place that does engraving should be able to do the job since its pretty simple. For Peace if mind though, I'd highly recommend having someone familiar with NFA requirements do the work. There is after all potentially prison time involved if the engraving doesn't comply with federal regulations, putting you in possession of an improperly registered NFA weapon.

I've used Orion. They did fantastic work. My only complaint was that I had to ship my receiver to them, rather than just drive up and drop it off in person. Turn around time was about 2 weeks if I recall correctly. I'm Thinking about registering another SBR myself. If I do, I'll be using Orion again for the engraving.

Orion did one of my SBRs and spelled "Bemidji" wrong. I had to return it, but they immediatley fixed the error and issued me a full refund. Errors happen anywhere, but how a business reacts to their errors is what makes them stand apart.

I've use them and will again. He did a nice job and turn around was fast. My only complaint was that being in MN I couldn't make an appointment and do a while you wait or drop off pick up to save on shipping. It sounds like he has a day job and this is in the side but who knows something may have changed.

Speaking of spelling, that was always my fear that I would get it back and find an error only to realize I made the mistake. Always makes me thinks of the "Kevin Amold" bracelet from the wonder years. I know some on here are to young for that show, but man that was a good program.
