From the article
He said the group’s demand is that banks like U.S. Bank and Wells Fargo stop lobbying for the interests of the so-called “1 percent” and begin to act on behalf of the communities that they serve.

How about switching to a credit union you stupid hippies? I've had an account at one since I was a kid, they've never screwed me over and it's a voluntary choice. If no one banked with the big banks they'd go out of business or stop screwing people over to attract more customers. How's that for change you can believe in?

But that means they have to exhibit this rare thing called common sense and to a lesser extent personal accountability.

And you, sir, just became a serious contender for the "captain obvious" moment of the year award.

So I hurr hurr hurr was eating dinner at Mannys, in the hurr hurr hurr private room designated for the hurr hurr hurr worthy, when this redneck came in with his hurr hurr hurr potbelly, Wrangler jeans and hurr hurr hurr moustache worn in a NON-ironical way. Imagine the distaste it put into my mouth as I tried to enjoy my hurr hurr hurr t-bone steak! I could tell by his hurr hurr hurr yellowed TEETH (the ones he had remaining at least) that he was one of those distasteful hurr hurr hurr smokers. Don't they have places for people like that? Some out of the way hurr hurr hurr "family" restaurant like Applebees?

I couldn't HELP but hurr hurr hurr overhear his order. A sirloin... WELL DONE! HURR HURR HURR! Well I NEVER! I called the hurr hurr hurr manager over to ask him to REMOVE this distasteful individual before he hurr hurr hurr RUINED what was left of my meal. Needless to say, he was hurr hurr hurr RAPIDLY evicted, and then proceeded to raise a hurr hurr hurr STINK about rights and equality. As IF he's equal to us! It would be hurr hurr hurr amusing if it were true, am I correct?

Allow me to replace my monocle.

And for the record, there is no competition.

I dunno. For me, it was a writing exercise. I'm just trying to add some value to this thread.

I didn't realize this was a firearms thread in the firearms section. It probably belongs in the basement. I fail to see any gun related stuff at all. Just someone complaining about hippies.

I know! What a bunch of losers. I'm glad we're better citizens than they are. They just don't matter, and the sooner they realize it, the better.

Technically it's counter-trolling, since the original post was a troll post. Off-topic, wrong forum, inflammatory, righteous indignation... pretty much textbook right there.

No, we give these big banks charter, special Fed rules and let them be quasi monopolies, and hire lobbyists to pay legislators and regulators so they can all follow the same basic pattern without competition. I think we should be free to publicly protest the situation.
