I use a slightly under sized regular punch to push them the last little bit to flush, or just under flush.

Oh, I scratched the first one, Not badly through. Just make sure you've got a good layer of electrical tape anywhere there would otherwise be metal to metal contact.
That receiver has such a high round count now, however, that it's starting to get dinged up all over, and so I no longer feel bad about the scratch, it's just another character mark now.
