Thinking of buying something built by Century?
Think about it long and hard - seems that their customer service has hit a new low -

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to re-post that video as a warning to others.

I have actually known the issue since the HK91 clone with Century. They don't make their own, but contract their production out to small shops that will build it at cheapest possible price.

But I am not sure why anyone is really surprised. You are paying very little for low quality firearm.

The part that is the last straw for me is that wonderful warranty.

CAI's quality is all over the map. When one finds a good build, it's an excellent firearm for the price. Take the time to fully inspect it before purchasing. CAI QA has gotten better recently, but there's still a lot of lemons out there.

Ouch! that is not good for them to not fully warrenty a gun right out of the box.
I just bought a new in the box century 1960 polish made in Fridly MN.This weekend at the big gun show. Does any body know anthing about this model? Did I just plunk down money on a lemon? I have yet to fire it. I was looking yesterday and today for some one that sells the front site tool, to site it in. I cant find any one in the citys that sells one. I know you get one in the box if you buy from fleet. if you can help me out in any of this let me know, Thanks

The 1960 Polish is a safe choice. It's the 5.45 barrels that century has really screwed the pooch with.

So the only thing you really have to worry about is sight cant, which should be obvious when looking down the rifle.

And will be obvious the first time you try and hit a target while shooting with it.

And sight cant can be fixed in a couple of different ways, some more brutal looking than others.
