Newbie here, from Long Prairie.
I have been told that you shouldn't shoot lead in a glock without getting an after-market barrel.
Because the original barrel can explode. Does anyone know why ? Is it because of lead build-up,
or what ?
Thank You

Thank You

I only shoot 50 rds. threw them before cleaning them, I look at the bore before I clean it &
there is very little build-up, but I clean it anyway & put it away for another few months.
I am a 1911 person so I don't use the glocks much. Do you think this could be a problem ?
Thanks

lead build up but wasn't positive. But now I am sure, so I will keep
checking the bore. I would buy a replacement barrel for them but like I
said I don't shoot the Glocks very often maybe 300 rds. a year...

Your next post should be in the reloading section, there is a friendly guy named Seismic Sam who really enjoys helping new re-loaders.
