I have read the Colt is all metal, but the controls still feel like an airsoft rifle.
The safety requires a 180 degree throw from safe to fire, rather than the normal 90 degree throw on semi-auto AR's.

Feel free to make comments and recommendations, even in another thread ... I'm REALLY listening ...

There is an extensive article on it in the October Shooting Times which just came today.
Frontiersman said they thought they would have one in the first week of Sept.

Got more info than I did, they would not say how many they had in stock or how many tickets they plan to hand out. Cabela's have them in stock at the Owatonna location and on Saturday morning will hand out tickets to those first in line that say they want it at the Saturday morning, 4 hour sale price. A $40 savings over Cabela's so called regular price, which seems to be pretty good, almost $200 less than the Colt model.
I guess I will wait for the forum reviews on the S&W, many forum reviews have been pretty good overall on the Colt, especially on the Colt's accuracy.
