Another black eye for gun owners

Postby Racetruck17 on Sun Sep 06, 2009 12:56 pm

I am a bit embarrassed to even post this since there were drugs involved with this arrest; but the reason for the initial arrest is what disturbs me. I fear our society is so far down the gun control path that families will not even be able to take hunting pictures with children for fear of legal woes.
Mods, if this is the wrong area, please bump it over

Authorities found out about the pictures after the woman e-mailed them to friends and relatives, and one of them called the city's child protection agency.

Nice!..some friend or relative!..couldn't just phone them and air their concerns since they were troubled by the photos?

How is this a black eye for gun owners? And what is there to be embarrassed about? There is so little detail in this story, it's almost meaningless.

I heard this story on WBZ radio here in Boston (out here on a trip) this morning leaving the airport - it's getting national play.
