Nice gun and I'm sure you'll have fun with it. I just can't get used to a rail on a 1911 though. For me, it ruins the classic lines. Sort of like putting a brush guard on a Corvette.

Let's see, I think he is the Chief, so he could write himself a permission slip, if he requires written permission <g> Maybe it is more complex, but if Chief Dolan wanted to carry a 1911 would someone tell him he could not? Wait, that is gun fearing Minneapolis, they might be upset the chief is armed with a cocked and locked 45ACP, poor example
