Officer Richard Crittenden

Postby Lastgunshop on Tue Sep 08, 2009 5:15 am

North St. Paul police had arrested and jailed Dockery in May and again in late August on charges that he was violating the order.

My question is WTF was he out of jail for? The judge and the court help kill a very good officer.

RIP Officer Richard Crittenden. 21X :salute:

I know about viewtopic.php?f=55&t=10047. It looks like that topic is about condolences. This topic is about the S*it Bag and what was he doing out of jail.

I believe he spent five years in prison for that one...a dirt bag with nothing to contribute, good riddance.
I believe we are on an irreversible trend toward more freedom and democracy - but that could change.

violating an OFP at worst is considered a Contempt of court. The judge will have some discretion on what he wants to do.

Talk about one of the most messed up and mis-understood jokes in the legal system.

OFP - is purely a sheeple feel good....
with it they artificially believe that it protects them so that they do not have to deal with guns, and especially the Warriors that come with them.........
that's why after 9/11 they wanted someone to pay, so they released the Warriors.......and now they don't like the results......effen morons......

It creates a paper trail which can help in prosecution of said shat-bags. But allas, yes it offers no real protection, it just helps your legal cause when you have to shoot the bastage.

I do not necessarily disagree with you, but if you need the paper then you probably have already been in a self-defense situation......should be nolo contendere... :hmm:

No offense intended, but Officer Richard Crittenden would be here today IF............... :hammer:

My condolenses to a fallen brother...

But I see this as a pissin'g match that will get nothing accomplished and the women's rights and now law enforcement groups will use it only to put more screws to an already messed up process.

Actually, since Dockery was killed, he won't be punished for Contempt of Court. But if he was not killed, he'd be charged with murder of Oficer Crittenden, I think. (His sentence for Contempt would be 90 days in jail, run concurrently with his life sentencne for murder. Probably, the Judge wouldn't bother doing the paperwork.)

Always get an OFP. It gives the police a reason to arrest as opposed to warn. It gives credibity to the victim, who otherwise is just one party to a rountine domestic dispute. It means the victim went to court against the perp, and won.

But sure, the police won't be there 24/7. If you have a relationship with a dangerous person, it's just dangerous.

And, if someone wan's an OFP on YOU, get a lawyer and show up. It's a real railroad; it won't matter if you're innocent.

Railroad?

There isn't a judge in the country that would deny an OFP for exactly what just happened. No matter HOW BS the request is. Even if it's based off "intimidating appearance".
