Hi, my name is Dorothy. I'm just learning about guns and I like it ! Learned about this place from a friend of a friend. Are there many ladies here ?
Does eat oats,and mares eat oats, and little lambs eat ivy.

WHile not a lot of women are here, those who are, are top notch people, and are well worth knowing....


Please be aware that the general tone of this place can be fairly smart-ass. but the skills and people who are here are very good. You will see a lot of comments back and forth which may at times seem very hostile and down right insulting, but mostly thats just playful putdowns and smack talk.

Ooooooooohhhhh, well, pray tell, if this place is one of those smart-ass, hostile and downright insulting places, I'm going to like it here just fine. :shock:
Just to clarify a bit, I have shot rifles and shotguns my whole life. Grew up with four brothers. I started shooting pistols about two years ago ( to me that's "just learning.) I know the basics, but I don't reload or any such thing. I have been a DNR instructor for about 5 years, there again, rifles not pistols. I'd love to try one of the steel shoots.
