Sig 9mm

I tried to look it up on wikipedia, and the Sig website and couldn't find it anywhere, so I'm asking all of you.

Does sig make a 9x18 pistol?

I was at my local gun store the other day wasting time, and they have a used sig that I was taking a look at, I can't remember what model, but it looks like a 239. The thing that confuses me though, is that on the slide or frame it had 9mm stamped into it, but right after that it had a strange word stamped in, and iirc it was Haug, or Zaug (some 4-letter german-looking word). I asked the guy who was working and he wasn't sure if it was 9x19, or 9x18.

9mm Kurz. or 9mm short which is .380 ACP in its unlicensed european version...

That'd be 9x17 = .380.

9X18 = 9mm Russian Makarov

9X17 = 9mm Kurz (short) = .380 ACP
