Sweet, now the FN Five Seven has a competitor

I had to say it.

It does look pretty snazzy though, looks kind of big, like the size of a ruger mark III 22/45 at least(height wise)

I just caught the magnum part. I think Jon has it right, FN has a competitor now, for less than half the price, with easy to find ammo. 8-)

The Grendel P-30 is reincarnated. Another pistol added to my list.

what would be better 5.7FN or this one?

Factoring std. ammo at 25 yards, would they be the same?

A 3.5 to 5 lb trigger pull, for a .22 pistol? I bet the FN beats it all to crap on trigger pull, and the 5.7 cartridge can exhibit some very interesting ballistics (depending...).

5.7 loadings out of a 5 inch pistol are roughly 30% more powerful than .22 WMR loads out of 16 inch rifle, if you get the high test rounds FN doesn't sell to the public, or the good stuff from Elite Ammo.

[ :geek: ]Of course, Dan, the only difference between this and a 5.7 is that the 5.7 has pointier bullets and holds 10 less.

They are very similar in power and terminal effect[/ :geek: ]

Regardless, it looks like a very fun gun, I want one too.
