Postby SIGP240 on Sun Nov 29, 2009 1:50 am

ANYBODY HAVE A POWDERPUFF LOAD TO FUNCTION IN THE COMPENSATED GLOCK 24C? I USE 175 TC B\HAND CAST BULLET. LOOKING FOR NO RECOIL LOAD FOR THE LITTLE GIRL.
Proudly launching lead from a Swiss P-240 at a range near you.

I know nothing about Glocks, much less the 24C, but does that designation indicate a specific caliber or not?? As far as powderpuff loads, you may want to go to the Wolff website and see what they have in reduced spring strength for that gun. If you're loading light, a reduced power spring may be necessary to allow the slide to fully cycle backwards.

Also, I seem to remember that with reduced loads you do NOT want a powder that is hard to ignite, because there is so little powder in the case that it could flash over and cause a kaboom. Generally people run reduced loads with Bullseye, 231, or other fast powder because it burns so fast you really don't have to worry about ignition.
