Either way, it's better than paying $549 at Gander Mountain for a used one.

Stard was referring to the used prices for Glocks there... Which are usually $300(ish). Like usual, he did not read your full post before hastily posting a reply. The new price is $398... Same as what you could get one for if you bought it from Mark Koscielski, or any number of other retailers who order on the Glock LEO/FIRE/EMS/Security/Whoever The Eff Else pricing plan.

Blow it out your not insubstantial posterior Farva. I did read the whole post, and felt it was a good opportunity to divert potential buyers to "STRAD APPROVED" businesses.

Not that it means anything to anyone but myself and my Mother......... Well not so much my mother. Just me I guess. :?

But just to recap........ STREICHER'S POLICE SUPPLY IN PLYMOUTH HAS REALLY GOOD DEALS ON USED GLOCKS.

That was for you MNtupperware and 1911fannie.

Okay, I was gonna say "less than $350 for a new Glock????" I'll probably order my next new one from the Koscielski's then. Granted the store is tiny, but the rest of it I attribute to the neighborhood. I worked as a rent-a-cop (remember folks, rent-a-cops have no police powers beyond that of an ordinary citizen!) at the Bank on Chicago & Lake for a few years, and I can completely understand having to buzz people in. As far as the transfer went, it was a nice excuse to go to a gun show! There's something about it being in the city of Minneapolis that requires the transfer be done elsewhere, if I remember correctly.

And that was invaluable information for a guy who was talking about buying a new gun. Thanks for another excellent post.

+1

And let me say that it's nice to see some people around here supporting the local shops.

So can I. Having to buzz them OUT is another story altogether. Made me nervous to say the least. Not even sure it's legal.

But I'm not trying to turn this into a LGS bash fest, so I will let the luser842 ijosef group hug koceilski ego stroke fest continue unhindered.

Carry on fellas.

Once again, Luser842 didn't read the whole post to see that that comment wasn't directed at anyone other then mnkaboomhandle and 1911fan.

If I was with you right now, I would demand that we settle this with a dance off.

The gauntlet has been thrown. I suggest the Gopher Breakfast as the venue. Will Stard have the intestinal fortitude to accept? will the onlookers have the fortitude to endure the resulting battle?

I'd like to request a change of venue! if the dance off occurs before the tasty breakfast is served, then the visual spectacle is likely to put us off our feed! if the spectacle occurs after eating, then it may cause spontaneous imbibement reversal in the onlookers. either way it's a bad situation and no way to treat such a wonderful buffet... :o

It would probably look a little something like this.

But only fatter.

and with less hair.

and less women.

and more breakfast foods.

Dammit. What were you saying in the "universal law" thread?

plblark wrote:21. The law of corrections. Just after you hit submit on a post correcting someone's grammar, spelling, or facts you ill find a similar error in your own correction. The more forceful or vitriolic your correction, the more severe your own mistake will prove to be.

you'll note that Macphisto tried to correct me there by simplifying it to Murphy's law. I assert that the law of corrections is even more sinister than even Murphy himself :-)

note: it's not ill find, it's will find. See ... the law is so insidious and diabolical that it even affects itself.
