At one time I did own a PM40, nothing but problems, even after 2 trips back to Kahr and some freebee replacement parts they sent me to fix the failure to go into battery. Actually, I believe it bounced out of battery, which is a whole other discussion, but for me the PM40 sucked. Now you will find those that may feel the same about a PM9, but I am not one of those.
My PM9 has been excellent and shoots accurately for me, more like a full size. I bought mine after watching a LEO go through a course of fire at a match, he let me try his and I was kinda amazed with how well I shot it. My brother shot mine one day and was also impressed with it, so bought one and he has had zero problems and been very satisfied. My brothers neighbor shot his PM9 and was also impressed, so he.......................
I am very satisfied with my PM9 for several reasons. Very accurate, small enough to conceal on the belt or in the pocket, been 100% reliable, meets my minimum caliber for defense and is my second most carry weapon. I have also used it in training that required a transition from the primary weapon to a backup weapon, I carried the PM9 in may back pocket and it worked excellent in training also.
So how does it shoot, very well for me and I shoot Corbon +P ammo through it.
