Gun Podcasts

Postby darthdahl on Wed Dec 30, 2009 7:32 pm

Does anyone else listen to any gun-related podcasts? If so which ones? I enjoy the ProArms Podcast, the GunDudes, and the Handgun Podcast. I would like to see what else everyone is enjoying.

It's like a radio show you can listen to on the internet, subscribe to in iTunes, play on your iPod, etc.

An example can be found here: http://handgunpodcast.com/

Given the opportunity, I'd shoot any apple products for principle.

Podcasts are little web based audio and sometimes video programs that are put out by various sources.

It's a "pod" you "cast" up into the air and shoot. Kind of like skeet or trap. Sloppy shooters use a shotgun. Good shooters can put a hole thru it with their carry gun.

I listen to Tom Gresham's Gun Talk http://guntalk.libsyn.com/rss. It's pretty good. He get's the Second Amendment and knows a lot about pistols, rifles, shotguns, the industry, hunting, etc.

I assumed it had something to do with fishing, though why one would wish to 'cast' some type of 'pod' I have no idea...

I think it has something to do with computers, and downloading over the interwebs of some type, but I don't really know anything about computers or the interwebs, so I won't be able to help you... 8-)

OK, now I know what we are talking about, we do that all the time, but we don't call them pods......

Yes I listen to a lot of gun related podcasts. Gun Rights Radio Network is pretty much a one stop shop for gun podcasts. Tom Gresham also puts out a podcast version of his radio show Gun Talk.

And last but not least I do a gun related podcast called Truth About Guns.
Check out my Truth About Guns podcast at http://truthaboutguns.com/

I don't often, but my dad listens to this one on a regular basis. they've featured him on air, also, for our OC Events in the past.

Thanks for the suggestions, I just checked out Armed American Radio and it sounds pretty good. I am also looking forward to ComradeBurg's Truth About Guns.

Thanks for reminding me about Gun Talk, I also listen to it, but forgot to mention it in my OP. I also enjoy Alex Haddox's Practical Defense podcast http://www.alexhaddox.com/practicaldefense.shtml.

Keep the suggestions coming - they're great!
