I resolve to get a LIFE in 2010. Think I'm kidding? I'm 48, single with no prospects, a workaholic and I love the Lord of the Rings.

As for guns, I resolve to get either a Springfield 1911 or XD Tactical 45ACP in OD Green. :goofydance:

Heh, I had to google her; I was among the many who thought Gloria Steinem said that. Anyway Gloria Steinem got married, too (to Christian Bale's dad). So there ya go, Rodentman, simile busted. You may as well put on some spandex shorts.

On #1, after the French Silk Pie incident, I think you are more welcome than you ever were according to the "Real Power" of the house. Come load any time. I can't even use it given the state of my right hand at the moment.

My list, in order of priority:
1. Bird training for Tango
2. Shotgun for soon to be wife
3. Dedicated vacation for pheasant hunt (So. Dak. or similar)
4. To attend > 2 Steel Shoots in 2010. Two was fun, but 6 would be better.
5. Pocket pistol in 9mm (Rohrbaugh'd be great, Kahr'd be cool, Keltec would be just fine.)
6. AR-10
7. Invitee to a Tac1 class in Missouri, 1,500-2,000 rounds in 3 days. (this one is a go, and I am muy appreciative to a very generous friend.)
8. Acquire more bacon.

The wish list isn't very long, but to add any of them, I have to divest myself of some of what I've accumulated.....

1. O/U shotgun for trap/skeet (thinking Lanber 2097 or Charles Daly Diamond III, possibly a Weatherby Orion)
2. Browning BAR Shortrac in 7mm-08
3. Ruger Mark III

low on the list....

:rotf:

I broke my right hand, wearing a splint for a few weeks. Makes operating the 550 a little tedious. How you ask? Got mad (well thats a bit of an understatement), punched the wall (once open hand, then once closed fist), hit a stud, broke bone behind the 5th knuckle. Others have more colorful stories they like to tell about the incident, but that is the true one.

You keep your perv mind racing. I'll be the last one to put an end to funny jokes, perverted or otherwise.

So where are your broken bone stories? If you have polite and quiet walls, they have obviously learned to "know better" by now.

Well I was concerned about broken hands, so I decided to use a hammer, they have behaved ever since.
