firearm related write offs

I am trng to figure out if i can write off firearm and firearm related purchases and some training classes that i took in 2009 for work related non re-imbursed expenditure. My job requires me to carry a firearm and maintain profiency quarterly. It sounds valid to me but i am sure the IRS see things different to me. Whaddya all think?

I do intend on going to a tax pro this year due to the large amount of sub work i did last year, i just like to have my ducks in a row first. Also knowing my luck I will get the libtard "guns kill people and should be banned" guy. In addition does anyone know of a good tax professional (by good i of course mean cheap). I generally tackle it myself but this year wont be long enough for me to trudge through this hot mess by myself

Yes you can write them off on your taxes with range fees, ammo, duty gear etc as long as you are itemizing your taxes. I was so happy when i got my house and could start itemizing as i could write all my guns, ammo and range fees off Make a big diffrence when you can write fun off on your taxes

Remember, if you sell a firearm that you wrote off, that sale is 100% profit and taxed accordingly.
