Important 2nd Saturday North Breakfast Issues....

Just finished a fairly long phone conversation with the manager over at Dennys. Trying to summarize here but he basically said that he is sorry for any indication of disrespect or impoliteness that he might have given and that he definitely doesn't want to lose us, particularly to his "most despised competition" at OCB. He seemed genuinely contrite. He says he will offer free drinks and 20% off every other time in the future if we come back (though I will say he kept downgrading the offer so I am really not sure where it finally ended up). He also says he will put the big coffee pots back out just for us. I explained that we would not be there in Februrary but we would be looking at the matter again after the OCB breakfast. I also conveyed your many good sentiments about Justine. It was a productive phone call at least in this regard--I felt like he was actually willing to listen and had some capacity to grow personally from this incident. He knows that the back room is sometimes too small for us and that is something he can't do anything about, obviously.

Thanks for questioning. I called them again just now so we could be sure. The gal at the desk says the Saturday morning breakfast price is $6.42 with tax included.
