also posted in that other forum but I'd take 2 or 4 sq feet and color doesn't matter much although slightly in favor of black or gray

You could collect from us before you purchase you know.

I'll skip getting any but will offer what I have found out about working with it. Though it is stupid easy to work with it would be an excuse to get out of the house...

That seems to be it for the sheet then! When I get it I will post here again, and divi the sheet up. Apparently this stuff scores and breaks like sheetrock. Shouldn't be anything lost in division. This will happen the day Uncle Sam returns my money. This should happen in 8-15 days.....

Yep, the 4 x 8 is all spoken for, if Vlad is in for 4 square feet.

I'm going to test that again to make sure I'm not eating my words...

For the greater good and to protect my powerful reputation here on MNGunTalk as well as the other board, I selflessly sacrificed a corner of my Kydex to double check my facts with a real life test.

All fun aside, as a sheet it scores and splits easily.

Alright, I'm planning on picking this up next week, (or maybe tomorrow if they are open....) so here goes the nit picky stuff....

First off, to those of you who wanted Aquamarine, turquoise, fushia, periwinkle, or other some other color, sorry to say that all they have is white and black. To go with the flow of the OP, the sheet will be in black. Also, I know that the grid that Pat Cannon so selflessly posted has (8) 1' x 4' strips....... Is that the way you would want it divided up? would 2' x 2' squares be better? Let me know what you want, I can do either/or or a combination of the two.

or several 1' x 1' squares,

or 2' x 1' rectangles

or 1" x 2.5" scales

or.........

Doesn't matter how mine is cut as it will be several small projects as opposed to a large one. Coming to the 1st Wednesday lunch?

Straddie, if it does not cut simple with a rockers knife, I have a thin kerf in the table saw and we can rip it to what ever is needed,

Right now it's more of an issue of how to pick it up. I called today to make arrangements, and they are open Mon - Fri 8-4. I'm at work all of these hours, without enough time on my lunch break to make it to the shop. I will figure out a way to make it happen..... I will keep you informed.......
