Where does one go to register, I know its general location but where do you go once at the facility?

Also what time does registration start and shoot time?

How does one haul all your gear around? Regular range bag for ammo and pistol but what about long guns?

I really need to get out of the house but its an overnite low of 10 and a high of 25. :?

Any other newbs figure on trying this tommorow?

I think I have a Serpa for a M&P will that qualify for the holster? Think I have a couple of mag holders for the pistol.
Guess I will have to wear cargo pants for rifle mags and shotgun shells.

What about slings on the long guns Yes or No? Guess I should have watched the videos closer that probably would have told me.

Stop in at the main club house first driveway if your heading east

I think 9:00 shooting at 10:00, if I'm wrong someone will correct me

Parking pretty close to each range, does help if you have a range cart or wagon

We're still thinking about it.

That will work fine

If anyone here shot the match or came to watch, I hope you enjoyed it.

It was a good 3-gun match with five courses of fire that tested shooters skills with all three weapons. It was 8 degrees at the start of the day but got to the high 20's by the end of the shoot. Burning barrels on all five stages helped to keep people warm. 27 shooters came out to test their skills and it was nice to see several new faces. Some good shooters in the bunch for this being their first competition.

There should be another one in March.

I am a wimp, I saw the forecast and figure maybe March might be warmer.

I had a great time, thanks for watching out for a new guy! I was in the flight with the winners of the shotgun stage and I have to say it was very impressive, I hope to make it again. If you have ever wanted to give it try, this is the place.

If you were the guy with the single stack - awesome job. I was the one running our squad, Tyler is my son and Steph is his girlfriend. I taught them everything they know

While I ended up not working I couldn't summon the motivation to do much of anything Sunday. Didn't get home from work till 5:00 on Saturday afternoon and felt more like having a beer (or two) instead of trying to find all my 3-gun stuff. Pathetic, I know. But at least we have work as compared to this time last year so I'm not going to complain too much.
Still, I better dust off the Benelli and try and get some practice in.

And I see somebody got to beat Tyler one last time before the Army turns him into a lean, mean, shooting machine.
Yeah, but I shoot with THIS hand.

Keith

Yeah, good fun it was.

I am glad to see work is picking up. I was going to invite you to BRM3G as I had an extra seat in the truck and more room in the motel room, but I see it is filled up now. If you get a chance to check out the stages posted on brianenos.com they look pretty good.

You also might want to do a search on http://www.3GunNation.com , a new web site sponsored by FN. They have joined with the Versus Channel to do some video taping of some of the matches and having shoot-off for cash. Looks pretty neat. Getting 3-gun more into the public eye.

Yup, I was the single stack guy. Old guy with old guns :D , you ran a great shoot and made it easy. You did a heck of a job passing on all that speed and skill to the youngsters  .

I guess old guys with old guns can still kick it! Good job.

As for the kids, I would love to take credit, but to be honest we have learned everything from the likes of Keith and others that were at the match on Sunday. Each shoot brings a new revelation, I guess that is what keeps us coming back. These matches are the only live fire shooting I have the chance to do, but I do a lot of "dry-fire" drills with the weapons and equipment and that seems to help a lot.

It sure shows that you practice and know the ins and outs of the match. It was interesting to see how it all worked. I really liked being able to use all three guns , anytime I can burn some powder, I like it.
